When you plan an evening at BRUDDET i Fjæreheia, a truly special experience awaits. From the magical moment you enter the old stone quarry surrounded by towering granite walls, to the final notes or lines echoing under the night sky, we do our utmost to give you an unforgettable evening. Here’s the most important information you need to get the most out of your visit.

Parking and access
The smartest option is the shuttle bus from Torskeholmen in Grimstad town centre directly to BRUDDET i Fjæreheia. Book these tickets at the same time as your event tickets.
Alternatively, there is parking at Fjære Church, about 1.7 km from the amphitheatre. From there, enjoy a pleasant walk along a lit gravel path leading to BRUDDET i Fjæreheia, or book the shuttle bus departing from there.
For those who need it, we have a limited number of accessible parking spaces closer to the venue. Have your theatre or concert ticket ready, as it grants access to drive all the way up.
When hunger strikes
BRUDDET BAR serves snacks and drinks in a cosy seating area with rain cover by the arena, so you can enjoy something good before and during performances and concerts.
Although we don’t allow outside drinks, you’re welcome to bring your own food if you have allergies or special needs.
For a proper dinner before the show, we recommend one of the many excellent restaurants in town. See more under "Stay, eat and explore".

A venue for everyone
We want BRUDDET i Fjæreheia to be a place where everyone feels welcome. The area is wheelchair accessible with dedicated seating and adapted access. Select these ticket types when booking. We do everything we can to ensure everyone can fully enjoy the experience. We don’t yet have full provisions for the hearing impaired.

Almost always good weather
As an outdoor venue, BRUDDET i Fjæreheia gives you nature as a backdrop – both for the magical atmosphere and the weather. Sørlandet summers are usually mild and pleasant with settled weather, but dress according to the forecast and bring a blanket or seat cushion for extra comfort. Check the weather before you come.
In the event of extreme weather that could affect the event, a holistic assessment will be made and communicated to the audience. In our long history, this has never been necessary.
