You can finally experience superstar ASTRID S live at Bruddet Fjæreheia – in not just one, but two concerts!
Norway’s most distinctive pop star
Astrid Smeplass, better known as Astrid S, has established herself as one of Norway’s most distinctive artists, songwriters and actors. Born 29 October 1996 in Berkåk, she first entered the public eye as a contestant on Norwegian Idol in 2013 and has since grown into an international pop star with billions of streams, sold‑out tours and a string of prestigious awards, including Spellemann and an MTV Award.
Loved by 5 billion
In 2020 she released her debut album Leave It Beautiful, followed by Joyride in May 2024 – an album that cemented her position as one of the leading Scandinavian pop artists of our time. She is among Norway’s most streamed artists, with over 5 billion plays of songs such as “Hurts So Good”, “Think Before I Talk” and “It’s OK If You Forget Me”.
Astrid S has collaborated with international names like Julia Michaels, JP Cooper, Shawn Mendes, Benjamin Ingrosso and NOTD, but has always remained in the driver’s seat of her own career. She writes and produces her own music, directs her music videos and is known for going her own way.
Artistic success in music and film
In addition to her music, Astrid S has made her mark as an actor. She made her acting debut in the lead role as Cinderella in the feature film Three Wishes for Cinderella (2021), which became one of the most‑watched films in Norwegian cinemas that year. The role cemented her position as a versatile artist with talent far beyond music.
Celebrating a wild year
2025 has been a spectacular year for Astrid S. She delivered a high‑energy show to a sold‑out Oslo Spektrum and took part in the TV 2 show Hver gang vi møtes, resulting in several number‑one hits on the Norwegian charts. She also gained major international attention during the UEFA Women’s opening ceremony in Basel, where her performance of the Norwegian national anthem went viral and moved audiences far beyond Norway’s borders.
A unique artist in a unique venue
With her distinctive voice and strong songwriting, she has won the hearts of fans all over the world. She is an artist who combines global success with artistic integrity, and her music channels emotions that both move and inspire. Today she stands solidly as one of the Nordic region’s most influential artists, with a career that is only heading upwards.
